Marvel has finally released the first trailer for Thunderbolts. MCU fans can now look forward to seeing many villains return.
Thunderbolts: First Trailer Officially Released
First, there was a leak, and now the first trailer for the new MCU film Thunderbolts has been officially released. The Thunderbolts are a team of antiheroes who solve the world’s problems in their own special way.
The main highlight is that the new Marvel film features many characters and villains that fans already know from past films. These include the weapons expert Taskmaster from Black Widow, Ghost from Ant-Man and the Wasp, and US Agent from the Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And, of course, the Winter Soldier is also back.
It’s no surprise that the first trailer is quite long, lasting 3 minutes and 24 seconds – after all, they need time to fit in all the Marvel characters.
Marvel Fans Love the First Trailer
The first fan reactions to the trailer have been very positive. In the YouTube comments, many people appreciate the realistic look without cosmic beings or magic. This is shown by the fact that the trailer got over 110,000 likes in just one hour.
Thunderbolts is expected to release in U.S. theaters on May 2, 2025. This means the Marvel film will come out just two months after Captain America: Brave New World, which is set to release in February 2025.
However, if you want to wait for the release on Disney+, you’ll need to wait an extra six months. Disney usually takes that long to release its big blockbusters on its platform.
